Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments
dirty windows worn carpets
The location was convenient.
The lodge seemed tired. Bedroom carpets felt rough, like pub carpets. Windows were quite dirty, inside and out. Some cleaning issues were apparent, dead flies on bathroom tiles and cobwebs outside.

wonderful cabin get away
nice cabin warm cabin leisure staff quiet resort
the studio cabin was very nice. it has everything i need and was also comfortable and warm. i was happy with the leisure center changing rooms. the staff accommodated us very well with having a baby. it was quiet and also well kept.
i find the cleanliness in the lodge a bit lacking. i found crumbs all over the kitchen. there were also stains and marks on walls and carpet, not ideal.

the studio apartment included fresh towels. i found comfortable bedding and blackout blinds. the kitchen was well equipped. it even had an iron and ironing board, which i needed.

lake view quality appliance cold water strong smell
the studio apartment had a good view of the lake. the kitchen included high quality appliances and fluffy towels. danielle was friendly at reception . she was super helpful too.
the swimming pool water was cold. i found the ladies' changing room had a strong smell. i also saw the radiators were rusty. i took a picture of the rust

lovely lakeside getaway!
modern lodge on-site shop convenient location beautiful scenery
i found modern lodges. the on-site shop is convenient (it has everything needed for a weekend stay!). food shop orders and uber eats are accessible to this location. the scenery is just beautiful.
i noticed a slight smell from a nearby farm sometimes.

the staff were cute and pleasant. they are very helpful if you make any requests. i really appreciated their friendly attitude. they were quick to resolve a minor issue i had.

the restaurant offers excellent food in both taste and value for money. vegetarians are well catered for. i especially enjoyed the variety of options (and the quick service!).

the location offers a beautiful relaxing setting. access to water-sports is available too. i found it nicely situated with very good access to nearby attractions. it's perfect for a break.

relaxing stay at the resort
clean resort fine views friendly staff
the resort was very clean throughout. i saw fine views across the lake. facilities were great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
the check in time is late at 4pm and any earlier requests are charged £10 per hour, so i seemed like we were in and out.

the two-bedroom lodge had spacious comfortable rooms, and i found the heating good. two bathrooms were available. i thought this was very good.

i found a wonderful bistro on site. it included delicious food. the food was very good and reasonably priced with large portions , i was happy.

a swimming pool with hourly slots was available. the swimming pool and games area was ideal for young children. the lakeside scenery was nice.

the setting was lovely, so i felt relaxed. this location is convenient for the m6. it is near a big supermarket that is 5 minutes away by car.

helpful staff well equipped poor cleanliness low maintenance
the lodge was well equipped. it included a dishwasher and a washing machine (very useful!). staff were friendly and helpful.
the cleanliness and maintenance fell short of expectations. the floor had not been mopped, leaving it sticky, i think.
